bigappleboy, float doesn't mean as much as some people say. What matters is the supply and demand on the MM side. You could have 5000 shares wanting to be bought at .30, and if they can't find any sellers to match, they'll raise the bid/ask to get something to sell the buyer.

supply and demand is what makes the stock market tick.(figuring the MM is playing fair ball, and not trying to cover his shorts @ .15 or something.)
