<Cover this morning's short shares and take a small profit; do not keep more than 1K
short shares. Write 5 Dec 125 puts and you can get $10 1/4 premium, and just leave
500 un-hedged short shares for now.

I am placing a pending order to buy 5 Nov 130 puts for $1 1/4. If we have rate cut this
afternoon, Amzn may run to 140 fast then fall. >

Jan, you seem to be really getting good at this stuff! (sincere complement). As you know, I don't do much trading or options, so I can't really comment on the content of this post, per se. However, I certainly respect you, and I hope that you are profiting from your expertise as much as it sounds like you should be doing. Thanks for your ongoing contributions to this thread :).

Jan,

I plan on covering the short prior to the Fed move. I will re-short at some point afterwards. The recent coverage of net stocks on CNBC (a few minutes ago) was good for a point on AMZN. It helped YHOO too.

Thank you for your suggestions.
