Patsy, In the posting Steve Fancy made a couple of days ago it was said that NO odd lots or fractional ADRs will be distributed. Therefore the number of shares, if any, you will get are dependent on shares you own. For example, to get 100 shares of TBE (Tele Leste Cellular Participacoes SA) you would need to own 5,000 ADRs of TBR because you get .02 shares of EMT for each share of TBR.
However, for each share of TBR you own you will get 1 share of EMT (Embratel Participacoes SA). Therefore you will get 100 shares of EMT for each 100 shares of TBR. Any odd lot portions will be cashed out.
Hope this helps. I only found out after I split my holdings between TBH and TBR last week.
