(AMZN), as of today, will start selling videos through its website, according to San Jose Mercury News. Highlights: - The move to sell videos and other items, which has been long-awaited, is another step toward Amazon.com's goal of being an online department store. - The company, well-known for its book sales, has also been selling music for about six months. - Amazon is entering the video market by offering 60,000 titles and 2,000 DVD choices, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
