To all others who would give opinion: I am not a DELL investor, but I am also thinking of plunking down some more cash for CPQ, which would mean a lifetime subscription to jajajajaja, etc. I have read much here, and understood some too. Please give brief opinions for buying here. I guess at least wait until the FED passes it's decree.

NW,

Thanks for the reply. At this point, I haven't decided whether to pour the proceeds from the Dell sale yesterday into CPQ. Perhaps I should have done so prior to the rate cut announcement. It's natural that Dell is up today, simply because I sold yesterday at 62 3/8! Oh well, I can't complain too much about a 100% profit in 6 months, and I still have 100 shares left. According to some of the Dell afficionados, that 100 will still make me a millionaire in 10 years, we'll see about that. In the meantime, I've still got a good feeling about old CPQ for some reason or another.

After all the mistakes I've made this year, that Dell sale puts me down only $5K for the year, and I've still got a few weeks left to make up the rest.

Best to all in the CPQ camp.

JMaz

PS: By the way, Kudos to Rudedog for the excellent CPQ/Dell analysis that was originally posted on 11/15!
