Mr. Cyranski,
Karl has posted those numbers based on the information given out from TAVA directly. This is nothing more than what the analysts do when they make their projections for coming quarters. It is simply a numerical hypothesis. To call something irresponsible and foggy does nothing more than advertise your own frustration. You would be better off asking Karl directly where he got his numbers from and he would kindly comply with your request.
We do know that at present Analysts, Hanifen has .25 for next Q and Redchip has .14/15. It is a given we don't know the actual but we can make a logical supposition from the information available.

Dear Angry Waldy and all: TAVA filed their 10Q today for the 9/30 quarter. Very interesting reading and I heartily recommend you all read it in its entirety. You can skim through in 10 minutes or so. The URL is: freeedgar.com

Some of the highlites I remember:
1. They had AND EXPECT TO CONTINUE TO HAVE a POSITIVE CASH FLOW from operations!!! Guess that ends THAT previous complaint.
2. The working capital is $20mm and is considered adequate along with anticipated positive cash flow from operations and a $3,000,000 LOC from a BANK at the subsidiary level to fund operations and growth for the next year.
3. The net operating loss carryover FROM 9/30/98 is approximately $15,000,000 however there are limitations as to how much can be deducted from income for Federal Income tax purposes in any given year.

Waldy, Karl does have an estimate for next announced qtr earnings. I am going from memory but I believe it is in the 25 cent a share area and I also would agree with that amount, especially providing that they can utilize the above mentioned N.O.L. JDN
So lets see just considering the last 3 qtrs 2 of which had NO Y2K income and adding this estimated qtr that comes to 1, 3, 14,&25 cents (nice progression eh?) or 43 cents per share or a PE of about 13 today.

Waldemar: I posted the numbers in the manner I did to highlight the positive effect of 25 million shares outstanding. People tend to forget that when a small number like "EPS = $.14" is multiplied by 25 million, the result is a big number. If TAVA had a couple million shares outstanding and was going to earn $1 share/yr. over the next two years, that wouldn't be much of a war chest. But 2 years of EPS times 25 million puts the cash in the pipeline into perspective. So depending on what you think TAVA will do with all that cash, you will either be comfortable or uncomfortable with TAVA as an investment.
