Scumbria - Re: " We have the MXi tapeout and 400 Mhz K6-2's to look forward to in January! "

MXi tapeout AGAIN - on a holiday. I guess after being 9 months late, NSM is getting worried.

As for 1/1/99 availability of 400 MHz K6-2 parts - that does seem to be a problem.

AMD selects one customer - Compaq OR HP ORE IBM - to get a new CPU speed grade, feeds that one selection, and all others get the lower speed grade parts. I'll bet IBM and HP are a happy bunch !

Sounds like a good opportunity for Intel to sell IBM and HP some fast 400 and 450 MHz Pentium IIs - while emphasizing Intel DELIVERS !

Well, you got one of three right.

The Broncos will go to the Super Bowl, but they'll meet my Vikings and it'll be the guys in purple doin' the whompin'.
