Taking a peek at the DELL earnings when they came out, I thought it was notable that their (top line) 'server' business expressed as a percentage of sales, grew from only 11% to only 14%. Clearly they're not making quite the splash in that space as planned. It's notable also how many DELL ads are on TV recently, pitching their servers directly to non-CIOs.

Although SUNW doesn't break out sales numbers similarly, I get the impression that DELL is feeling heat from SUNW (Darwins), as the Sun low-end is doing much more than just 'holding the line' against the PC high-end.
