OK, to get the history somewhat more correct on personal computers. I was working from my own experience, buying a Radio Shack TRS-III in about 1980 and not moving "up" to an 8 mHz 8088 until about 1985.

I am still curious as to why Yahoo, which shows a chart for IBM going back to the 1960s, only shows Intel from about 1987 onward. Was Intel listed in the over-the-counter pages of the Wall Street Journal in the 1970s? In any case, it was pretty obscure until the 8086.
