Webb: You'd better check your scan, as Richard says. When SAR falls below the price, it's a buy signal. Take a look at SAR in Metastock, and you'll see.

Brooke,
I have copied the file to QP2 and it runs, so I will check it out tonight. I think that I was using the scan for a different purpose. After a stock was identified by the prescan as meeting certain values, I wanted to make sure that the SAR was below the current price of the stock, thus I looked for those stocks that had a "buy" date on them.

This was to eliminate those stocks with a "sell" date, since I do not short stocks. I will check the output against GET and see if I am not getting the right signal. Even though I purchased MSWIN, I have not used it very much at all since getting QP2. What with QP2 and GET, I seem to have my hands full. And tomorrow, the TechniFilter Plus for QP2 should be out.

I guess that I am getting lazy in that I have not been doing all that much system testing. I just use my adjusted prescan with QP2 and then use the StochRSI(14)/MACD as an initial stock selector. Then comes GET.

If I understand what I have read, the TF+ is supposed to be a real nice program for system testing. One thing that I will say for it, is the fact that it is real fast.

Again, thank you for the code. I will be checking it shortly to make sure that it is the same as the one that I found on your site earlier.
