Data Dimensions Wins Deloitte & Touche Technology
Fast 500 Award for Second Consecutive Year

Company's Continual Explosive Growth Rate is Key to Recognition

BELLEVUE, Wash., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second consecutive year, Data Dimensions, Inc. (DDI) (Nasdaq: DDIM - news), has been awarded the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 Award. This prestigious award recognizes DDI as one of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the United States.

''It's a great honor to be included among our country's most rapidly growing technology firms,'' said Larry Martin, DDI chairman. ''What is equally exciting and satisfying is DDI's contribution toward the growth and infusion of knowledge in the technology industry as experts in process management for enterprise-wide IT systems.''

DDI assists businesses and governments in planning and executing information technology solutions from the mainframe to the desktop, including Year 2000 readiness.

''To attain a listing on the Fast 500 is no easy feat, and we at Deloitte & Touche congratulate Data Dimensions for attaining this honor,'' said Mark Evans, managing director, Deloitte & Touche High Technology Industry Group.

DDI's increase in revenues of 757 percent over the five-year period of 1993 to 1997 resulted in a 391 ranking in the Technology Fast 500.

To qualify for the Fast 500, companies must have had revenues of at least $50,000 in 1993; must be headquartered in the United States; and must be a technology company. Regional Fast 50 programs submitted their list of winners for competition into the national Fast 500. DDI was a winner of the Washington Technology Fast 50 Award in 1997 and 1998.

DDI will be listed among the Technology Fast 500 winners in the November 30 issue of Forbes ASAP. An award ceremony will be held during the First Annual Technology Fast 500 CEO Summit at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix from April 30
to May 1, 1999.
