JetForm, Newbridge, Oracle and PARJplus Introduce Integrated Patient Healthcare
Information System

Web Ready Application Allows Patient Records To Be Securely Accessed and
Viewed By Multiple Healthcare Providers In New Era of Healthcare Delivery

OTTAWA, Life Sciences National Conference, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- JetForm
Corporation (Nasdaq: FORMF, TSE: JFM.), the global leader in enterprise
workflow and electronic forms solutions, today unveiled the Integrated Clinical
Information System (ICIS) in partnership with Newbridge Networks, Oracle
Corporation and PARJplus Software Corporation.

The ICIS application, developed by the partners in direct response to the
challenges of healthcare re-structuring in Ontario, is currently being used and
evaluated by the Ottawa Hospital -- Civic Campus' new Women's Breast Health
Centre.

The community-based private sector partners have developed a PC-based "thin
client" for the Ottawa Community Health Information Partnership (OCHIP). OCHIP
is a consortium of healthcare providers and organizations.

The solution allows patient records and diagnostic information including
paper forms, X-rays, ultrasounds and electrocardiograms to be stored, accessed
and securely viewed by healthcare providers across multiple sites, allowing for
improved diagnosis and treatment paradigms and administrative cost savings.

ICIS has brought together JetForm's electronic forms technology with
Newbridge's network products and systems, Oracle's information management and
PARJplus' data repository software. Newbridge Networks is providing the
leading edge, multi-services platform that enables the delivery of ICIS and
other next-generation services and applications. This powerful asynchronous
transfer mode (ATM) solution is comprised of the industry-leading
Siemens/Newbridge MainStreetXpress(TM) MultiServices Switch and the
MainStreetXpress 36150 Access Switch.

"The changing face of Canadian healthcare, including increased home care,
outpatient clinics, and tele-medicine facilities, are making it imperative that
we change and improve the way patient record information is stored and shared,"
said John Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of JetForm
Corporation. "We're proud and excited to be part of a team that is using
technology to improve service to patients while reducing program costs."

"The benefits of this approach to the electronic health record are
immediately apparent because it allows rapid development and deployment of
clinical applications using proven tools and technologies," said Dr.
Christopher Skinner of the Ottawa Hospital. "The Women's Breast Health Centre
is an example in point where the use of electronic forms, combined with proven
database repository and network solutions has put this system into operation in
minimum time."

"Newbridge Networks is proud to be part of an initiative that will move
healthcare into the 21st century and offering a solution that will benefit all
Canadians," said Terence Matthews, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,
Newbridge Networks. "We are delighted to be working with these innovative
champions and look forward to a long-term relationship that will continue to
yield substantial benefits for the healthcare sector."
