FAQ's a): If you are a bit more experienced you can play earnings plays that don't pan out to your profit. I have been in and out of WSM since September and have picked up some profit. WSM only met estimates today and at it low point was down almost 2 7/8.. I watched it pretty carefully today although I did not plan to buy it I wanted to watched the price patterns. It was able to 'bounce back' nicely to only a loss of 1/2.. That obviously won't happend to all stocks that come in line. A major prerequisite is 'having a run-up' beforehand or generally be a longer term uptrend, which WSM had. 2): I've been asked why the urls you have been using dont work anymore after a day or two. That is because the URLS to both the User Watch list and Newsletters are changed automattically and now almost daily. So you really must go through the member login button. In the future because of the amount of new subscribers coming in and inevitably the percentage of drop off will be in porportion, they will be even more encrypted. So maybe all those e-mail I can take care of. 3): I've been asked by many professional people who are working full time but like to trade how to best utilize the watch lists. My answer would be probably the newsletter might be better for them. although I've held stocks on the watch lost almost as long, it is more difficult to determine entry/exit points on those stocks especially if you work full time. Fundamentally strong stocks that beat the street will come back for more and more gains.. Only look at XIRC, USWB, CREE, POWI, AMCC, QLGC, etc.. So you could make a pre-earnings trade on anticipation and hold for 1-4 days. ANF,TJX,TOM,CLX, were easily fit those criteria.. and if you decide to hold through earnings ( wouldn't hold very specifice companies) you will have an extra pop.. You would then either hold for the inevitable profit taking and rebuy over and over. as I have done with those and about 30 others. Messages: first to the EM doctor who posted questions about the watch list. I answered you in length but SI was acting up and I'm not sure if the post went through. Luckily I saved it to a text file, when it looked to be shaky so please e-mail me because your post disappeared. Sorry to interrupt the thread with this, I specifically waited for after the close, but I hope to free up some more of my time by answering as many as I can.. with as few posts
