Peter, It would be most interesting to find out who was on the other side of your buy-in (if that were possible). From some of the posts I see on this thread I am beginning to wonder if there just might be something more sinister going on at Datek other than technical problems. This idea that they can force a buy-in anytime they like at any price with no notification is very scary. I can see enormous potential for abuse of this privilege by an unscrupulous broker and I'm surprised the SEC has nothing in this situation to protect investors. Brad
