The timing of the news relates to options being real cheap. I doubt they really cared about releasing a day before holiday shopping begins. It was a nice strategy to help MOMO PARTNERS get a ton of money for Nov 130 calls. Also Bezos was waiting to pump the stock up so he could cash in on the 180,000 shares at a higher price. Moreover, what would they do without pushing to a new high. Yahoo and AOL did it, but this overpriced piece of garbage was tag-a-long material. Phil
