hiya colleenb...been out for the evening...just got in...see i have 40 potato messages to read, but yours was the first....your statement to kc...about the eagle has landed....ill tell you something pretty cool...and this is not foolishness, but fact...

the "eagle", was the name of the lunar lander, for the apollo eleven flight...in this machine there were two people, named neil armstrong, and buzz aldrin...there was a third astronaut, who never is recognized...his name is michael collins...he was in the command module, or the lunar orbiter, while the other two were walking on the moon...i have known michael for 11 years, and he is a teriffic fellow...just a regular minded type of guy, like me...not an ego guy at all...

but, hey, talk about an interesting life...united states military academy graduate, 1952...air force test pilot...astronaut with two flights...apollo 11 and gemini 10...assistant secretary of state...curator for the national air and space museum at the smithsonian institute, and presently on the board of directors for the national geographic...and he has his own advisory company...

funny thing, as many times as he has been on my charterboat, he holds me in awe, as much as i do him...he is fascinated by the intracasies of the workings of the boat, and the little things that make a successful charterboat fisherman...really a great person....

colleen, thanks for inciting the memory...now, back to the lunacy...
