TJM, great reminder to close out positions going against you. The cost (mentally and from a management viewpoint) is way to great.

Sometimes holding occurs from people's past experiece in dealing with a broker. Got rid of mine and done way better - done it's a fact.

Part of the hold occurs because of a belief the broker knows more and is (supposedly) watching the market. When a position is going against you the broker will use a line such as hold, quality company etc. And you end up waiting another cycle - which may seem, and in fact can be close to, an eternity. That's bad management.

TM,
You have put it as it is......devastating isn't it for some, aren't we lucky to have a choice to do, as we want, to do what we want, to do when we want...... God love us one and all and enjoy each day to the fullest. It's only money. Happy investing to one and all. Luckie Sandie
