FMK stop being such a sour puss. Zeev might come off slightly bombastic but he really might know something so if you have them please give him the patent numbers that were published on Oct.20 and the one other one after that. I probably can't get them till tomorrow. Zeev: the Valence Website is not up to date on patents and its true that many of them refer to older and irrelavent work.
there was some discussion a month or so back on this thread, not a lot and I can't place it now come on folks give Zeev some info

and Zeev: stop spooking the natives don't speak off the cuff. Take a good look first Best Regards Michael

Zeev,

The following was submitted by someone who claims to be a patent attorney on the Yahoo VLNC thread (by and large a waste of time). Perhaps you could check with him. He submitted an earlier post claiming that the patents were quite sound -- but perhaps from a legal POV.

Also, I find your posts provocative and helpful. (Yahoo post 6555)

I watch the stock because I have an equity position and I have made note of the recent favorable upward move. I believe that this equity is still trading at a substantial discount based on their probability of success in the rather substantial rechargeable battery market. A comment specific to Nowaynohow: I have no specific information one way or the other, but as an observer, I consider your "successful" trades as suspect. Anyone can have 20/20 hindsight. Your posts almost exclusively are made after the fact. Anyone can say "I bought in at last week's low and sold at this week's high". If you post your buys at the time you make them, your posts may come off as being more believable! Today you say you bought back in, was it suspiciously at the low for the day? What price did you buy in at? As far as your investment style... as a friend of mine likes to say: "You turn faster than a Greek sailor!" Sorry if that offends anyone, but I feel that the description fits. It seems that many on this board take postings at face value. I take NOTHING at face value! For what it is worth, the person that I did the research on VLNC's patents for indicated to me that he expects an announcement at COMDEX. Never buy on rumor, especially not this one, but that is what he said.
Take care everyone. >>
