Yes, everyone knows Intel is taking the CE market very serious now.
The challenge from AMD and National on the low cost is also stronger than before. The embedded market is growing so fast that also becomes to big for Intel to ignore.

Therefore the article you mentioned touches everything that Intel worries these days. But Intel is too big for me to worry. I only own a few hundred Intel for my daughter's education fund. I bought quite a lot of ESS stocks after they went public. I have high hopes for ESS.

But they get in such a messy fight with C-Cube that both suffers profit margin. I heard the Internet chip set has much higher profit margin, something higher than 45%. This is getting back to normal.
