Matt,

>>I'm ready for the gap up in the morning and think it is possible as investors sleep on the rate cut and remember what happened over previous ones.<<

Yes, Naz100 futures are up, optimism is up, momentum is up, foreign
market is up.

The question may be, do we let things keep moving if the gap up.
I'll be looking to see if a price gets pegged to a certain number
like 36 or so. But have to be flexible, and play it by ear.

>> protecting profits stage right now because I think downturn in next
several weeks is possible.<<

Not for a bit. First the market has to work some of the rate
ease...the techs do, and I'll be curious to see if the banks
do also. If the banks don't, that will mean there is still
trouble.

After a few weeks, there will be concerns about profit growth,
but estimates could be worked up as they rebalance for the
new interest rates. I'm bullish with these interest rates.

COMS is still cheap, and if it does well this earnings, then
it's a proven $$ maker. If the market is bad, there will
be a more rigorous hunt for companies that guarantee profits.
COMS will get more credibility after this next quarter.
