BradC - I do not necessarily disagree about the gambling, russian roulette, craps comments - I tend to be a bottom feeding vulture. I look for stocks that have taken an incredible beating and gamble on deadcat bounces.

Just look at the nonsense in the US this week with AVCO 3-31 one day
halted for 2 days
opens again at 3 and goes to 15 back to 8 then to 12.

And yes - no question you need a little luck. I currently own no shithouse certs ( close but none officially and permenantly halted) I also have not been part of a rollback - YET

I was the last 5 trades on a company called RRN at .38 thru .42 - it got halted for 3-4 months and opened at .25. My offers were in above market but some clown heard about the halt and got cute and wiped em all out from the market of 35-36 thru to 43 I think.

That is luck - if you want to check - call up the chart - look at the last day of trading in SW - get the transactions and I am the Scotia sells.
