Jafco Contrary to others thinking, I believe it is a combination of MM, shorts, and GPGI selling shares to fund itself. This combination is deadly to stock appreciation. The reality is strong fundamentals and fulfilled promises make it very difficult for the above to happen. There are approximately 27,000,000 shares of GPGI outstanding. 24,437,096 shares as of 6-26-98 2,562,904 shares added "approximately" in Websters is defined as adv; nearly, almost. I just happened to call a company I/R relations person this last Wednesday for their outstanding shares and was immediately given the exact number. I believe the stockholders are entitled to the correct number as of monday 11-18-98
