Anyone know Japanese? If so, you can translate an article about the K7. There are also pictures of it plugged into a motherboard at the link. Do they look like "foils" to you? ;)

We may have to wait for Tom (Tom's Hardware) or Anand (AnandTech) to give us the first glimpse of it.

Elmer:

<<We have been promised a public demo along with benchmarks this week. Ask Maxwell, he's the one who made the promises.>>

Here are the things you have said in chronological order:

0) Talents are leaving AMD (thus K7 project, etc. are sinking). I guess you are speaking for yourself.
1) K7 only exists in foils, no silicon.
2) Thus AMD will demo only K7 foils at COMDEX.
3) AMD will only have K7-400MHz system demo.
4) K7 exists but they don't run benchmarks.
5) I assure you that the Intel processors blow away the K7.

You and your wild ass claims are way off mark. Each time you have proven wrong you have taken it to the next level. The claim I said was that K7 is the world most powerful X87 when released.
Microprocessor Reports and others have agreed with me since.
