Zinc stocks at the LME are going lower day by day. They are down to about 334,000 tonnes a decline of over 3,000 tonnes today alone. They are down from 450,000 tonnes in one year. This has been happening with the far east in recession. The decline is speeding up and averaging 600 tonnes a day over the past 60 days. Zinc prices are still very low. Much silver occurs with zinc and lead deposits. I think we are not far from a major turn in zinc prices. A stock to look at is Breakwater on the TSE which produces silver as a byproduct to its zinc and lead.
