Larry, and to all. Cable World trade publication for the cable industry.Article on front page Nov. 16 TCI FOCUSES ON JUMPSTARTING INTERACTIVE ADS. Article highlights ackowleges meeting withJohn Malone, Leo Hindery and MSO adverising maven spoke to 45 Representatives from fortune100 companies and the largest ad agencies about Tci's plans for adressable advertising and digital advertising with Kraft, Tci Media services and Grey advertising. The partners promised to develop propritory spot cable advertiesing delivering highly targeted geo demogrphic messages first to key neighborhoods and eventualy on a house to house basis. In the plan Tci systems in Chicago ,Dallas San Fran, Miami Denver and Seattle with their national rep would send a variety of kraft spots over a variety of cable networks ( CNN, Espn, Nickelodeon Tbs and Tnt using digital technology tofashion demogrphically and geograpic targetted buys.
It goes on . My question is is this or does it sound like ACTV's technology or could it be , butthey donot mention Fox sports, but they do mention Espn. Any coments.NOte even if this is not ACTV the trend is moving in our direction.
