Invest in Microsoft as well - unless you have a religious objection against making money.

The actual purchase price was $20 but Intel continued to slide all the way to $15.50 in December of 1974.

After 9 or 10 splits since then, though, that difference is rather small.

GS, Clue on buying stock at the bottom. Work at some co. that cannot afford to pay in cash. Then, watch that co. do well. That is the harder part of the equation. Which is how Paul did it. As the saying goes, it is better to be lucky than it is to be smart. But, what Paul doesn't understand is that you cannot count on luck always being with you.
