Alan,

Remember that Katmai is just the processor. I can't see how it would affect RDram sales.

I look forward to any responses because many on the thread have said that Katmai represents the initial ramp into RDRAM. Is this wrong?

Didn't they mention a bus speed of 133 MHz? Would this not support or need RDRAM?

We knew it all along that the availability of Camino would be the rate determining step. However, if Katmai was delayed, the deployment of RDRAM technology (in main memory PC application) wouldn't benefit. Thus, its being on track is good news, although somewhat being taken for granted.

That was the point.
