Patrick,

>>>>>>>>> When you mentioned manipulation to Don, I would hasten to say I never said that. My post on Tom's thread prior to the cut was very clear in saying that the market was thin, and a run could easily be accomplished.<<<<<<<<

Being fairly new to trading, I have concluded by myself, that there is plenty of manipulation in the market.

Just one example, it has been widely stated that most of the individual investors was not the major sellers during the big pullback this summer. Lets say that is correct, then it must have the been the big boys selling the majority. At the same time they were selling the majority of the mutual funds/analyst were trying to convince everyone to buy. So on the surface it appears that they, the mutual funds, were selling, as they were telling all to buy. I realise it is not that simple, but there is a bit of dishonesty.

Did ABBEY COHEN, the strong BULL, sell any of her stocks in her personal account during that period?? You bet she did.

I have a strong distrust for most of the analysts. Those bullish analysts, which were the majority may be right that this was just a correction and not a full blown bear market - they why the heck were they selling then.

It has been widely stated that the during the period of the selloff, the majority of the mutual funds have underperformed the S&P - just more proof that they were the sellers not the small guys, but as they were selling they were telling all to BUY, BUY, BUY.
