Doing some quick price comparisons between identical items on Amazon's new "gift page" I've found that their electronics items are ALWAYS around 25% above the average net-vendor prices. And you know what this is going to do for the PR guys in a couple weeks:

"Margins on the newly launched gift section represent a more profitable segment, since our profit margins are higher."

(they'll neglect to break out sales figures, because probably 15 or 20 people will buy a CD player from them and thats about it.. But they can still claim 10000% revenue increase in that segment! (who cares if they didnt exist in that segment last quarter, it's all about headlines baby!)

I have changed my mind on AMZN. Worst case, they can print more stocks to get cash to build the business. I do believe that in the short term, nothing can stop AMZN from going up.

I am impressed by the speed that they build up their business.
I no longer short AMZN; however, I don't have the gut to be a long term investor, either. Selling puts and buying calls would be fine with me.

It's going to get higher.

This is all fabulous news for the bears on this stock, because the co will simply lose $ at a
faster rate than before! This is a fact.

Accelerated losses = day of reconing comes sooner. This is not rocket science.

I keep saying fundamentals are falling into place just as projected. The market continues to ignore them is all for now.
