I haven't been adding new shorts, I've been holding the same barking dogs since Sept. My feeling was Oct would be an OK month to be net short, with mutual fund tax loss selling and Late Nov plus Dec would be good for net short with the individual investors rotating their dogs for tax purposes. The evidence is partially in, and I'm wrong. Ok OK. No need for everybody to geer at me. The pain from my paper losses and decreased portfolio is punishment enough. chester
