Steve, Lately, it's working. Hey look at this. More good results with x2 Modem: 3com.com OTOH, I just got a hard copy of Network magazine and it rated 3Com modems as somewhat in the middle of the pack. Something's gotta be wrong with their testing method: V.90 Modems Burn Up the Wires With Standards-Based 56-Kbps Access (it's better if you can get a hard copy of the magazine, since the charts and illustrations are easier to see. techweb.com Any modem experts around to have an opinion on the above article? joe
