FYI, I urge you all to contact the Wall Street Journal at .....

letter.editor@edit.wsj.com

Following is my letter this morning .....

Subject: Dow Jones & Co - Apologists for Bill Gates and Microsoft

In the print edition of today's Journal, you grossly confuse editorial and news policy in your continued support of Microsoft.

The editorial page features a column by Holman Jenkins Jr that defends
Microsoft in the DOJ antitrust case - a continuing and consistent
Journal editorial policy. At the same time, the news sections omit any mention of Sun Microsystems' important victory over Microsoft in the Java case yesterday, which is featured in The New York Times, The
Washington Post, The Boston Globe and every important business "on-line" service on the internet.

Dow Jones clearly supports Microsoft at the expense of Sun Microsystems.

This is also pretty clear in "Barrons" where Sun is given little
coverage.

As a print subscriber to the WSJ and Barrons, I am especially offended, as Sun Microsystems makes up an important part of my stock portfolio.

Your actions are not defensible.
