LG, I've been watching the member/specialist indicator for awhile, and the over 30% bearish, under 30% bullish indicator doesn't really seem to be a good leading indicator of where the market is going. In fact, in many instances the indicators seems to lead in the opposite direction -- check out some of the over 30% positions leading to a lot of short covering and a boost to the market.

<The NYSE reports the data weekly with a two week delay,>

I'm missing something somewhere, where did you get that?

Anyway, I will be travelling for a few days and will try to extract this for my own interest during that time.

For to me, what this is saying is the information is really 3 weeks out of date. Tomorrow is Thursday, for example. The data from November 13th is 2 weeks late? So that's 3 weeks.

So tell me then, how would anyone know whether the Commercials were long or short ahead of the AG announcement? It may be late Sunday, Monday before I get back to this by the way.
