CHILE: Vested Interest The Management of Rock Resources is pleased to announce that the exploration work requirements and cash payments required to achieve a 40% vested interest (Rock has option to achieve up to 70%) in our Chilean project have been met. The Coirón East Copper and Gold exploration target is from a geological perspective capable of hosting a Billion Tonne plus porphyry-style deposit. Results achieved from surface work and underground drilling to date has attracted serious interest from several major mining corporations. CHILE: Work Begins The geological team from Compañia Exploraciones Mineras Los Lobos S.A. has commenced the last phase of geophysical work which will include an induced polarization and magnetometer survey over the main target (Mount Tacho) copper and gold area, the new gold discovery area, and over the new copper discovery (Cerro Carmen). CORPORATE: Annual General Meeting / Board Member At the Annual General Meeting held November 12, 1998 all resolutions set out in the information circular were passed.
