When? The company has announced no plans for a split. Why not call Covey or Bezos to ask them? The last time Covey said anything about it was to say that the company had no plans to split the stock or make a secondary offer. Of course, that was misleading because we now have a de-facto secondary under way with the 2.7 million shares of insiders and VCs shares being sold by the major brokerages. This "under-the-table" form of secondary is not as costly as doing a formal secondary but gets the retail brokerages drooling over the commissions.

Amazon could split the stock now that Yahoo! has split. Got to keep up. That would be a short-term positive for the price - buy on the rumor and sell on the news.
