Al,

Do not know how long you have followed silver, but a long time ago 1979, a man named Jerome Smith wrote "Silver profits in the 80's". In this book, he states that someday silver will trade above gold, just as it was more valuable than gold in ancient Egypt.

I personally do not think so however, it is interesting to me that less than one billion ounces of silver are above ground and four billion ounces of gold are above ground. Further which metal has the greatest drawdown?

BTW, Jerome Smith also wrote Silver profits in the 70's, this book was instrumental in Bunky Hunt trying to corner the silver market. Mr. Hunt, always thought silver should trade at a five to one ration to gold. Therefore 300 gold equals 60 silver.

Regardless, still think silver will move at a greater percentage rate of return once the metals panic begins.
