The relevance of NDS or AD or any other directory service has been over-stated on this thread. Reality is, for anyone who knows anything about what makes intra-nets, extra-nets, and the BIG I itself tick, directory services are just noise. The sw industry has been promising ds to save us from administrative nightmares, cost of ownership, etc. but it's all noise. SO now, CSCO signs an intent to do something with NOVL and hopefully, you'll go away. CSCO's challenge is how to kill LU and NT. This press release won't do it. Although it's very popular to dump on Gates' and MSFT, I'll pass. There's a difference between envy and jealousy. I know which side I'm on. Cheers, Peppe
