There is very little information available right now. Investor Relations will be happy to send you a packet that pulls back the curtain somewhat. All sorts of communications connections can be used, ISDN, ATM, leased, frame relay, etc. Improved compression technologies may make use of their technology feasible over std. copper at some point. Because most of the available info is buried in the Raging Bull board (and will probably be requested repeatedly as people find out about TGCC), I have culled a list of what I think are the posts that are worth reading. Feel free to read all 770 posts but most of them have nothing at all to do with TGCC (lots of banter and off-topic posts). The posts that can bring you up to speed quickly are listed below.
