I mentioned my potential profit of 480K on aol if I had kept it.
We are talking keeping a stock 5 years. I had it in 1993. I haven't even been in FNTN a year yet. Is an extra 100K a year worth keeping a stock? well, for me it is. ANd I have a LOT more stock in FNTN than I did with AOL. In aol, I only had 400 shares costing about 14K.

TO ALL:

For What It's Worth: I have one questions only. Why hold a stockholder meeting unless:

1. They have every intent (and are in fact closer than we may even realize ) to become a fully reporting company.

2. They have no news to give to shareholders.

Impatience and irrational thinking here by paranoid stockholders who can't wait just a little bit longer will come with a heavy price in my honest opinion.

The response from MS was VERY positive if you can read between the lines. There is a good reason why everything hasn't been dumped in our laps like we all wanted yesterday.

Patiently waiting and looking forward to Dec 21, 1998 and BEYOND.

I think they are done with their beta testing. Instead of making an announcement saying that the product/services are available to everyone, FNTN might have decided to sell it only to a select number of customers, thereby maintaining a controlled environment . If they make it available to everyone then they would expose themselves to the danger of being in the position of performing an enormous amount of damage control if problems do occur, and consequently they would have a hard time of building confidence in the customer/user community.
