I personally think they (ALTS) are afraid of being too specific about technical capabilities and marketing/sales efforts due to continued/open risk of litigation/pending lawsuit.

They are clearly playing it safe in this respect by only releasing information that can go unquestioned -- leaving the speculative nature of the turn-around equation/situation (at least openly) to the likes of us on this thread.

They have made it very clear that they are seeking non-dilutive capital. This is evidently the most glaring problem they presently face. The presumption (and reasonable) is that EB will sell very well if properly postured and visible. Unfortunately, visibility/posturing costs money.

My personal feeling is that they should give larger compensation/profit potential to VARs (farm outs) then would normally be available and work very close (technically) with these VARs in pursuit of whatever account(s)might be/are available. ALTS does not appear to have the financial capacity to house a suitable/trained (expensive) sales staff to make an effective GR. Upon (if) a certain level of reestablished/new product recognition in the marketplace is achieved -- they then can begin to raise their margins and get a stronger foothold on profit.

Ericson did all the right things by reducing overhead and focusing on the product's R&D. Glitch-less products will sell themselves if visible. I saw this at Lotus.
