Dan

If you say in the beginning God created, then he also created our natural curiosity and intellect, and he also created compassion and placed them within us. You also have to allow those that believe in other religions, which all speak of compassion and the need for love, to believe that their God is responsible.

I believe Buddha spoke of the need for love and compassion way before the birth of baby Jesus. However, if you want to feel that Jesus is responsible for Love, I have no problem with that.

However, there are people on this planet who have never heard of Jesus, or know almost nothing about him, and they are very capable of feeling and expressing love and compassion.

AS far as Sam, the name calling has gone both ways. Not necessarily just you and him, but in all directions.

When it comes to interpretations of the Bible, Even amongst Born agains, you would have agreement that Jesus is god and he died for your sins, but it would stop there.

Dan,

" To say there was no love or compassion before Jesus is not true.

I disagree. "" In the beginning GOD created............""

Why don't you accept that statement from anyone else? I believe I've said as much in many different ways, and you've taken issue with it.

Peace,
Darrin
