X: Well, I don't usually do stock recommendations and really don't want to get started, but here is one “quickie” analysis:

First of all, I have not followed this stock and had to download the data to do this.

APLX

Fundamentals:

1) Sales are improving.
2) Earnings are marginal, but back in the black from last year.
3) No time to verify products.

Technical Analysis:

Stock started a major decline in early 96. The stock put in an intermediate bottom in 4/97. There appears to have been accumulation of the stock prior to the bottom, thus facilitating the following rally into 8/97. At the peak of the rally distribution appears to have taken place and the stock returned to its slide into September of this year where it put in the first of its double bottom, with the second bottom coming in Oct. However, no obvious signs of accumulation before the stock began the latest ascent. I always like to see some evidence of this before a rally.

My Stuff:

A) Last Short-term buy signal 11/17
B) Short/Medium term buy signal 10/23
C) Medium/Long term buy signal 9/23
D) Long Term Confirmation signal is still in a sell.

Note the stock is above its 100 day SMA

Things to watch:

1) Stock found strong resistance and bounced off its 200 day SMA first part of Nov.
2) Stock needs to move above the 200 day SMA and buoy above to reinforce this bullish trend.
3) Overall Market could have effect. (If it pulls back.)

Always trail a mental stop loss!

LG

X: Looks like APLX is beginning another move up, you still invested?

After you asked me about it, I decided to track it to see if my recommendations were sound. So far, so good!

If the overall Market cooperates, it should buoy above the 200 day SMA with this move and then, who knows...<g>

LG
