>>These so called analyst....first they say they don't see much promise in this area ...<<

"So-called?" I think being employed by respected publications such as TheStreet.com and Barrons qualifies them as Analysts in every sense of the word. And after all, they have been right about Iomega all this year. Iomaniacs have been woefully incorrect.

Let's do a quick run down:

Price cuts continue = margins suffer greatly

Revenue shrinking year to year

Still zero Vapor! built-in announcements from D. cameras or PDA's.

Vapor! delayed yet again until "Late 4th Q or First Quarter 99."

(Expect another Vapor! delay to at least 2nd Qaurter 99)

Sony one the way. = Zip in trouble

ORB on the way with real OEM's. Not "endorsements." = Jaz is toast

Shamefully bad PR skills by new CEO Jodie "Rubber Stamp" Iomega.

Couldn't get real established CEO. Had to pick from the second or third tier of executives.

Zip250 = lower tie ratios

Still selling OEM Zips at a loss.

And much much more. IOM is rated an AVOID.
