Can we help by giving low whisper numbers for next quarter
I think the best course is acurate information or best guess. Last quarter there was no estimates here to offset whatever hype was being generated. Perhaps guesses on earnings could be coupled with a calculation about how high or low individuals were in the past (or an indication that they are a first time guesser).

DELL needs to position itself more in the mode of CSCO where they beat by a penny quarter after quarter after quarter and thats exactly what everyone expects. No surprises=no disappointments.
I wonder how M. Dell could convey such a change to the analysts.
Notice how before earnings CSCO and DELL used to trade like they were joined at the hip? Exactly the same prices. Now look at CSCO! Can't figure it.
