Stevie: You are right of course,, ,but its not hard to see why he lost that account,, iF this is an example of how he reacts to a little bit of what HE sees as bad news. He is a boor and a Bore as evidenced by his TV appearances. CRDoug

The company they lost out to is the same one Chuck ( on national television-CNBC) referred to as "idiots". That statement bothered me then and more now. I hope he's not losing it, or we're all screwed, long timers (entry prices $20-$40) in particular.

What I can't understand is how Value Line, one of the most respected in the business, has, as of last Friday, PAIR rated 4th out of 1800 in their 3 to 5 Year Appreciation Potential Screen. (2nd the week before). Warren Thorpe, their analyst said, "We look for stronger unit growth next year, as competition eases.

Does this mean Adtran (the "idiots") are going to disappear?

This is why I believe we may experience reduced earnings in Jan. report. If this happens, there will be some selling pressure and the MMs will manipulate the stock and cause wild fluctuations until earnings improve in last part of 99. If Pair can hold earnings during this lost of contracts, the future should be rosy. IMO.

And I think I'll give it. This piece of dog shit management team had better strap on some balls and DO SOMETHING. They are fiddling while Rome burns and it's PISSING ME OFF. We are now a zero (and probably less) growth company and the market is treating PAIR as a zero growth company. I'm not real impressed with this jump today. We need substance not little bumps on rumors that dissipate in a couple days.
