What does " branding that is more
prominent or almost as strong as uBid" mean.
Market cap of EGGS = 332 million
Market cap of ONSL = 439 million
Market cap of MALL = 250 million

I'm not sure which ox Briefing.com is trying to gore

Platter: my response to briefing.com's analysis...

I really hate briefing.com's misleading articles. They give out half-truths; which are sometimes more misleading than lies. I wanted to make sure people are aware of briefing.com's notorious reputation of writing misleading articles about promising companies. Heck, if you read the FIRST article briefing.com wrote about MALL, it compared it with WCAP!!! I mean, WHAT THE HELL are they thinking??! The second article they published was a little more accurate but still misleading in many ways. They didn't even mention MALL's own profitability or MALL's numbers last quarter. They focused purely on UBID's negatives which mean absolutely nothing since UBID's a start-up and is bound to have less impressive numbers than EGGS and ONSL that have been around longer. Given UBID has only been in the business 1-2 years, they've done a great job of promoting its site and increasing its sales from $9,000 to $15.3 million in less than 12 months. Doesn't that GROWTH impress you? Briefing.com doesn't seem to think so. They didn't even mention the fact that UBID is the #3 ONLINE AUCTION WEB SITE OUT THERE; ahead of EBAY and others!! Go figure.
