>>BII has 20,000,000 shares outstanding there revenue next year is to be $20,000,000 Canuck.....which would justify a 45,000,000 market cap (using the same numbers as Onsale) this equals $2.25 Canuck per share.<<

>>Mr. Godin expects revenue of $20-million this year, $30-million next year and profitability in the third quarter of next year.<<

A couple of points to be made Chief

1) Most of the ISDEX will not be profitable for 1 to 2 years.
2) Many will fail in that period
3) BII's projected revenue and profitibility, albeit small, seems to be
easier to measure in a shorter period of time.

I wonder how much of the company's relatively conservative projections has to do with their investor/directors from AOL/Torstar and Rogers? Should there be any premium built in to these strategic alliances?

I noticed in the news release that they said: "Bid.Com intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for advertising and marketing, business-to-business development, research and development, working capital and prospective acquisitions."

In observing Yhoo (new high 189) and Amzn(new high 169 3/8) over the last few months that acquisitions played a big part in their success.

Perhaps AOL sees something in BII that we can't?
