Thanks Colin,

Will have to double check with mortgage company. I know the 1099 will pick up the Jan interest, just don't know that they'll pick up the Feb pymt as interest, like you said they might consider it principal. I thought they defaulted extra pymts to subsequent payments, not principal unless so designated by payor.
