Dwight, you're right about insider trading being important.

I just think it's ironic. A CEO is showered with stock options. His (or her) financial advisor tells him to diversify and buy something altogether different on the open market. If a CEO ever buys his own company's stock he will never be able to sell it as long as he's a loyal employee. People interpret any sale by a CEO as bad news. He owns it, but he can't sell it.

Maybe shareholders aren't so smart when they approve stock options for executives?

Dwight,

The world situation is indeed worrisome and frankly I don't know anyone around here with the *don't worry be happy* attitude..

I looked at Paul's commentary at ragingbull. Well...you get what you pay for. For example he is looking for the Bundesbank to ease? He should first wait to see other European countries easing and forcing the BundesBank to ease. This will happen in due course probably..And so on and so for.

Look, there are decisive moments when you can make serious money. For instance, when the house was burning and the world was falling apart it was difficult for me to do it but I bought NOVL calls and sold NOVL puts. I bought NSCP for 19 or so, I bought Bank of Tokyo for 6 +, on margin! Paul?, who was apparently on top of a pile of cash, was buying puts..Believe me I was worried!

I guess the chest thumping now comes as a natural *riposta* to the insults that Paul would, foolishly as it turned out, throw at us NOVL longs.

Regards

Victor

PS I foolishly bought today a whole bunch of MSQMT..
The NOVL Jan 20 calls I foolishly bought last year for 1/8 or so are now selling for 9/16 asking..what should I do? I will keep them!
