MP3 players from CREAF would not be a big deal now but a foot in the door of what can be. I do think that your right most people don't know mp3 from a COM port. But the ones that do get free music or did I say free : ) that is VERY cheap music. And I'd also add most people that KNOW are young and in to music, ready for a new format just like mp3... I for one as every one on this thread is most likely sick of me saying love the idea and wish for CREAF to go deeper into this area... sound cards after the Live have maybe 5 years till DOA (MainBoard or CPU for sound as good as Live @ this time).

I feel you have the answer brad in what you said with mp3" music format that they cannot listen to in their home stereo or in their car. " Open and CLEAR door for CREAF to place mp3 car players and home stereos in. Sale the stuff at cost build a brand name away from PC cards and you will have a HIT also as a added plus your PC cards score higher as well with the brand name WIN WIN. And the perfect part is CREAF has all it needs to get it up and running now... but I've talked about this idea forever feels like.

I see little cannibalizing of any kind from OEMs and a CREAF PC.
I'm not liking the idea of a CREAF PC in the states ; ( the market is full as is and people still think that PC's from 1 maker are better then others (all the same stuff is not known from the non PC people I talk to).

PC's are made and run by magic
a little elf in every box : )
or is it more like the wizard of OZ?

Creative partners small PC makers to cram in as many of its components as possible to sell the "Live Experience" to show off how its products work seamlessly together. The idea, I think, is not to compete with PC OEMs but to boost sales of upgrades.
